Ames Flooding

August 12, 2010 12:25 pm

Well I don't know how many people have heard about it but Ames is like Venice right now.  The whole city is flooded out it is like an island.  Now with this and Iowa State being located there part of the campus is also underwater.  That would include Hilton and Stephens Auditorium along with a bunch of other buildings in that area.  The last time that this happened the Cyclone basketball team started doing good.  Guess what it was called.  "Hilton Magic."  That is right it is back.  The Iowa State Cyclone basketball team is on the rise and is ready to be back where they used to be.  At least I hope they are.  Thankfully though this has not affected the actual football field but the water is all the way up to the Jacobson Building which for those of you that don't know it is the building at the end of the football field.  Lets all hope that everyone is alright and they can get back to being the greatest university in the country.

Freshman sensation Wesley Staten is on a fast track at West High. He scored 17 in his first game playing varsity and has also scored 20 plus in a couple of games. I got to see him play and he looked good. He looked under control and very quick. He got to show his athleticism with a very impressive dunk as well. Shaping up to be a very good recruit.

3 Seniors and 1 junior, how much longer do we have to wait before most of our team does not transfer.
